It can't get better than this...

A couple of years ago I got one of the 1st generation "infamous" iPhones and after returning it twice for different issues I decided to go back to my old-fashioned trusty cell phone; no internet, no emails, not good for my line of work.
2010 started on the right foot and getting a new iPhone 3G was top priority on my "must-have devices" list.

What am I up to this week?

Well... I'm always up to something :) and it's not joke. I can't shut it down...
Marketing and networking is the game of the week!
Besides creating & ordering promo material I've been networking with different event vendors and planners... like in every industry teaming up is the 'key' to succeed :)
We are only human, my day and yours has the same 24 hours so... @ some point we need someone ELSE to rely on... just being brutally honest here.
THANK YOU to all my real & virtual friends who stick w/me along the way to my personal and professional happiness... I mean it.
Am I getting emotional here??? LOL
Anyway, working on my hubby's website http://chizeled.net and putting together a coffee table book for a client as I type.
I'm ready to shoot a private event on Saturday night, meet with a bride on Saturday and another one on Sunday, lawyers' head shots on Monday :)

5x7 Flat cards, all layered and easy to customize.
All files were created using PS cs. They should work on all versions of PS 7.0 or higher.
Save hours of time consuming layout and design.
Simply replace picture with yours, customize wording if applies and Voila!

All templates are sized for printing through Smugmug and WHCC.
I offer them as 5x7 prints from my Smugmug gallery and clients couldn't be happier: excellent quality prints and gorgeous colors.
Each design includes background image (captured and edited by me), seasonal wording and all the necessary layers to create final card.

Still not sure if this is the right template for you? Send me one of your photos and contact info to test on one of the designs before purchasing, free of charge.

What else? I'm emailing back and forth with a local salon/spa.
They want me to photograph them in action (doing what they do best:
pampering clients) for printing material: big posters, postcards and some

AllisonDanieldesigns.com Fall collection is almost done!
I have to confess, it gets a lil' bit crazy working
with designer and PR at the same time but... I love it!

What else? A new hosting company invited me to team up with them
and offer my website designer services to their customers. This is huge!
Looking forward to start seeing my website templates out there.

"5x7 template/collage" is the first of the batch.
In this specific tutorial you will learn how to create the template from scratch,
manipulate their layers, add photos to it, resize them, save blank MASTER
template and save template with images.
Some PS knowledge is required, at least you should be able to edit your own photos.

New projects and beyond...

Did I mention I'm busy? Well, I am... and not complaining about it :)
I just wanted to pass by and let you know a couple of projects I'm working on:

Custom logo design & matching watermark for Melissa M.: she knows exactly
what she wants so let me crack my fingers and start putting some drafts together
for her. Like she says "I knew i had to go with you, when your name was Rosie,
I have an aunt, my favorite aunt who's name is Rosie... we all get some sort of sign
which path we should follow!"

Also, I'm waiting for some fabric samples on the mail to photograph them as part of another product photography project, this time for Drape98 Express.

to redo her collections pictures so I'll be helping her out.
