Editing away...

After re-scheduling for over a month (due to the weather), today I was able to capture D & D e-session (engagement). We started around 7:00am and between jokes and personal anecdotes we created an incredible photoshoot... the rest is all in their pictures. Some to be shared, some to be shared NOT :)
Lil' M and Faythe's family are been edited as well, hang in there...

What am I up to?

"I feel like I edited a wedding... so many good images, each one of them capturing one lil' priceless moment of Caden's Bday kick @ss party.
Thx for letting me be part of it thru my lens." - Rosie :)

#2 - Getting ready for today's bride consultation, and 2 weekend's photoshoot.

When it rains, it pours, Yay! Let me go to keep on running around :)

Adding my 2 cents to the cause... since 2005 :)

"I'm a girl of many skills :) but simple things like picking the right greeting card takes me for ever and I always end up sending a boring 'feeling guilty' e-card :(
I truly believe
Design-her Gals was thinking about me when launched their customized stationery concept". - Rosie :)
I proudly promote this incredible company,
The Gal to Gal Foundation
and the great cause behind it... ready to join me?
"...We believe in giving back, in whatever way we can. To that end, we've launched the Gal to Gal Foundation, dedicated to financially and emotionally supporting those patients diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer. We encourage you to join us in our commitment..." - Design-herGals.com

On October 11, 2009 I'll do it for FREE!

"We are daughters, sisters, husbands and fathers. We are roommates, best friends and soul mates. We are photographers with a passion for giving back. On October 11, 2009, we will unite our talents to contribute one day of session fees in support of breast cancer research. 100% of all session fees collected on this date will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®. We are hopeful, that with your support we will find a cure in our lifetime."

How to participate?
- Contact me to book a session for that day.
- Go to http://www.imagesforacure.com/schedule-a-session/
- Use the handy little widget to make your donation of the session fee (set by your photographer) directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation!
- Forward your donation confirmation to me and I’ll confirm your appointment time! Easy as pie!

Studio portrait - How to pose?

That's the million dollar question!
There is not an exact formula for posing but if there is ONE tip I can give you about it IS ---> practice in front of the mirror: your faces, postures, attitude, moods, etc. it will make the big difference between a force capture and showing who you really are. The point is, getting comfortable with yourself and then some :)
I know is NOT easy to be in front of the camera while some stranger is trying to get the best side of you... to make you feel better,... it's not easy from this stranger's side either :) when you are not being YOU.
I can give directions, make you laugh, etc. we will have a good time, for sure... but, as a photographer, my goal is not only to capture a pretty smile but expose your personality, cause' you are much more than that... don't you think?
Here it's how I do it:

As you can, see I'm a work in progress but, every single image shows who I am :)
Ta-ta for now...
